Oh hey childhood

Eye spy with my big brown eyes... Looney Tunes!
Yes that is correct, while glimpsing on Asos, I came across these adorable cartoon prints.

It is slightly tiring seeing the same old same old, but these prints are unique, fun and very 90s inspired.

The range has been created by Lazy Oaf, who is famous for it's bright pop graphic prints and even accessories. The label was created in 2001 by  Gemma Shiel, who used to run market stalls in East London, with hand printed tee's.

Lazy Oaf's success has reached over 150 stocklists worldwide.

This brightly coloured crew neckline sweatshirt, with a contrast trim is £58

And if this may not tickle your fancy, maybe these will...

Sylvester and Tweety Bralet, £25

Pepe Bodycon Dress, £60

Slob T-shit, £38

Tweety Pie Crop T-shirt, £38

Looney Gang shirt, £65

Oops

After years of drooling over parkas, I finally splurged. And I am not even sorry...

After a few weeks of looking around, and trust me, I made sure I looked around to avoid spending nearly three digits, however, sadly I could not find anything.

So I found one that I have had my eye on for about a year now, yet they have slowly changed the style by adding a dodgy white fluffy hoody. It slightly looks like they killed a rabbit and stuck its fur on the hood!

Needless to say the stunning fashionable khaki coloured parka was a love at first sight. Yes it was £95, but I tried to convince myself, to feel better that pay day was a week prior.

And even now, having brought it, it is resting on my hanger, of the door of my wardrobe, with the price tag still neatly displayed. Why you might ask? I guess guilt may have sort of settled-in and I am slightly still deliberating it...

As for my mum, ha, she definitely had a heart attack when she saw that reciept, oops.

Boohoo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xN10TRAMkgc

Here is the new advert for Boohoo. I would like to think of myself as one of the few that knew Boohoo right at the beginning when they first started out. I was in love with their average price clothes, and their unique dresses. Oh how things have changed...

Do they really think Litttle Nikki's fetchy music and the models lame excuse of dance moves will disguise the fact that their clothes are just not that great.

I am actually shocked at their winter season in comparison from their summer advert.

Their patch work jeans look like a pair of jeans worn by a young child, who got bored, in an art class, and started designing on herself. The clashing colours are just terrible on the light skinned denim.

And what is it with the t-shirts with animal faces/cartoons? Are they advertising for London Zoo's souvenir shop!?

They have also gone way to ott with their fake fur jackets and coats, and let's face it, they are not real, so they should not be focusing the advert on these. Their are, personally, nicer jackets and coats on the website.

And towards the end of the advert, have I seen correctly? Tutu maxi skirts with biker boots?

Judging by the YouTube page, it seems the song  made the bigger impression than the clothes...

It also seems the lower high street, looks up to the higher high street stores. This is exactly what Boohoo did with River Island. Check shirt wrapped around a petit Rihana familiar in the advert?

As for the male models, where were they? It is only recently that Boohoo has started to sell male clothes too, so why was all the emphasis on the girls?

The ending, I have no words. Actually no, I do. There was this fancy dancing in the streets showing off their winter season, and they end it all cuddled up on the sofa...seriously!

Now do I have anything good to say for the 31 second advert...thinking...erm...the music, yes that. I like Little Nikki's song.

As for Boohoo, let's just hope their Christmas collection is better.

Bridget Jones, we salute you...

Who knew the mockery out of knickers would actually be good old use to women. You may laugh, but they have proven to work, giving you that extra confidence back.

Lets face it, most of us have a bad day, but they is no need to ditch that dress you set your heart on all week because you would be more comfortable in leggings or jeans than looking fat. Just pop-on these magical knickers, and let them do the trick.

And where can you buy them? Well, everywhere. Primark, Tesco, New Look, Marks and Spencer...

Let's face it, most of us girls cringed when watching Bridget Jones Diary, where Hugh Grant retrieved lower, and lower, finding these famous knickers, under her garment. However, they do work wonders.

Little black dress

Most girls own at least one lbd (little black dress). What is not to love about them? They flatter you in the right places, suck in those embarrassing places, and flatter those assets.

Nicole Scherzingher has been spotted in the Daily Mail last night in her black dress, and looks stunning.

Traffic-stopper: The X Factor judge left little to the imagination in the revealing dress, which featured a leather bodice and see-through chiffon skirt

The leather detail combined with the black chiffon skirt could not work any better. She has got it spot-on with her appearance on Jonathon Ross, and with her perfect figure, cut-out figure hugging dress could not have suited her better.

If you have fallen in love with this dress, you can find it on Missguided for a price of £24.99

I have also found some more LBD'S;

The popular skater halterneck dress for £19.99

The bustier lace detail dress for £24.99

The sweet deal mini dress for, wait for it, £6.49!

Embellished shoulder mini dress for £39.99

Bardot dress for £22

Collar dress for £46

Cara Delevingne

If you have not heard of her, you must have seen her face. 21 year old Cara Delevingne is the newest most popular model around. The stunning young model, who also does a tad bit of acting, had fascinated me, and I must not be the only one as she has been named Model of The Year at Britain Fashion Awards in 2012. She has definitely made a name of herself, for all the right reasons. With her signature bushy eye brows, she is naturally stunning. The model, models for the likes of Burberry, DKNY, Chanel and has even been apart of London and New York Fashion Week, strutting her blonde hair on the catwalk.

I am also loving her rebellious behaviour with her newest tattoo crave. For a model, you can see the controversy with her recent tattoos, including an lion inked on her finger.

And when she is not walking the catwalk, she hangs out with her bff's Rihanna and Rita Ora.

Another reason I love her is even when she is not all glamed up, and throws on a t-shirt and jeans, she still looks amazing. Her natural looks is proving that she will be the next top model.

Was it worth it?

I was desperate for a dress for my best friend's birthday this summer. When you go out in London, you know you have to be wearing something snazzy. So, I was was ecstatic to see 20% off on all Famous Frock dresses. This boutique online shop has the most stunning dressss, but also very expensive ones..

So yes I gave in and brought my bandage dress, that was also seen on TOWIE's Lucy Meck, but was it really worth £70? You wear it once, take a picture, and stick it back in your wardrobe. Well, that is what I have done. And I am sure many girls have the same morals. I mean once you have taken that picture in it, do you really dare to wear it again?

Check out these celebs wearing their famous frock xo

My favourite dress at the moment

River Island seems to have won me over with this midi long sleeved print. Add some red lip stick and it makes a killer statement dress.

Pardon my face

It's ugg season!

I don't care what anyone says, I love Uggs. How can you not? Their comfy, they go with anything and everything, and they keep your toes warm!

Okay they might be a tad bit pricey but I've had mine for two years. They may have died now (RIP) but still lasted me 730 days!

I was angry the other day by someone's comment. Someone had called uggs 'scruffy' and that she hated them. She had said this while I was wearing mine...you can see my anger. Someone who wears dresses and leggings really shouldn't be dishing out opinions to be honest...

I'm lovin' this week

Tulisa
Jealous as much as I am? I don't know what I am more green about, the figure or that she is on a beach in Dubai! Even so, I think Tulisa looks amazing, and I am in love with this bikini.

Cher Lloyd
These contrasting colours have grown on me, and I am in love with khaki jackets with the leather sleeve at the moment.

Nicole Scherzinger
Will there ever be a bad picture of this X Factor judge? I think not.

Millie Mackintosh
The newly wed looks stylish in her hat and boots

Ellie Goulding
Wowza. That is all.

The higher the heels, the more of a chance you fall over?

Is it just me or is anyone else struggling to find a good old pair of heels lately. I'm not talking about ones with the biggest heel, how about comfiest, or even just a nice pair!

The sandals

Yes these sandals got around with celebs last month, but let's face is. Who really will be wearing these in winter?

As much as I love platform heels, by 1am they are either off, held in my hand, or I am in the toilet crying my feet hurt.

Boot heels have always been a winner for me. They're comfortable, they match nearly every outfit, and they keep my feet warm. They also look even better teamed -up with an anklet bracelet. And the real reason why I wear boot heels? Well, pop socks underneath of course. That way when my chubby little legs can't handle the pain, they come straight off, where I am safely wearing protection, ha.

So please, if anyone knows any good heel shops, let me know!

Goodbye summer, hello winter

Well if you are like me and could not be seen pale, you must be a fake tan lover right? Well if you are struggling this season to find a tan non-sticky, non-smelly, and the most obvious, not orange, well try these.

I am in love with Lauren Goodger's Laurens way products. 'Glam tan' has always given me compliments by many and has even been mistaken for a real tan! Yes that's right, someone asked where I went on holiday! Okay, I may have just come back from Cyprus recently, but that was a month ago! Trust me there is no real tan on my skin anymore. Anyways, Glam tan is 250ml of the price of £18.95, with the offer of a free mitt. If you are a new to the fake tan, why not try their gradual tan. It smells amazing and is even a nourishing body moisturiser.

Check it out at http://www.laurensway.com/

Off-putting price? Well here is an alternative. Sunkissed self-tanning mousse comes at the price of just £4.99 for 200ml a bottle. The smell is nothing to complain about and the colour is amazing. It instantly gives you a dark tan. However, this cheaper product would obviously come with some sort of negativity. I would say stay away from the white tops or dresses with this tan. Let's just say my sisters white crop top is anything but white anymore, soz sis!

Blast from the past

Who would have thought, I am in love with pork pie hats!

At first I was very much relucatant that they would suit my big head, but for some reason or another, they do!

I would recommend these hats sold at River Isalnd or Topshop. While they stand at a price of an average of £25, I shall give you my reasons of love at first site;

  • Bad hair day? No problem, no-one will ever know...
  • I am going bald, literally, so instead of hiding my hair spray and backcomp, I will no longer need to backcomp my hair if I am popping my hat on.
  • Who really wants greasy hair? We live in a miserable, but lovely country that unfortunetly rains near enough on a weekly basis, well cover-up that hair.
  • And obviously, they look fab. They are in this season so why not!
Enjoy my cheeky snaps rockin my hat!
